Surprise! The 2014 Summer Collection is Coming Soon

Surprise! Good Time Clothing will be releasing a new collection in June. The Summer 2014 line will include three new men’s styles, and one for the ladies.  That’s right ladies, we hear you.  Stay tuned for details and photos, as we get closer to the end of May.

Besides the long-awaited release of our new collection, here are a few other things we are excited about this Summer.

1. JackThreads - Founded in 2008 (Yes, we are late to the party!), JackThreads is a men’s online shopping website that curates top-tier street, skate, surf and contemporary fashion brands and provides users with access to exclusive discounts, limited-edition collaborations, seasonally themed shops and products from today’s up-and-coming designers.

Some our favorite styles from the shop:

2. Wood Watches – That’s right, wood watches! They offer a unique take on the classic watch style.

Good Time Presents: Imaginary Friends!

Last Friday, local hip hop duo, Imaginary Friends! set the tone on stage for what would end up being and epic night of hip hop. Joined by local artists RIPYNT and Carl Roe, Imaginary Friends! kept it lively with their unique presence, fresh beats, and thought provoking rhymes — and the crowd couldn’t get enough. We expect to see a whole lot more from these guys!

While the whole cast kept ‘em on their feet, Good Time Clothing was there to make sure they looked fresh while doing it. And of course, we set up a booth to make sure the crowd could re-up on some new gear. This is the first show that Good Time has been a part of and plan to do many more like this. Our mission is to be where YOU are — seeing and being a part of your good time. And of course looking fresh while doing it.

Throwback Thursday: The Looks That Inspired Today’s Streetwear Trends

Although the styles are different, not much has changed.  Today’s youth still dress to impress.  We can all remember that feeling of stepping off the bus on the first day of school – rocking some new kicks that you convinced your mom were absolutely necessary for the new year, and hoping that girl you like would notice how fresh you look.  The way you present yourself is everything – a sentiment that is not lost on the previous generation.  Behold!  Throwback styles so fresh, you might need to take a page or two from their book.

And let’s not forget about the bottom half.  Sneakers you would’ve killed for back in the day!

CONVERSEstartechCONVERSE STAR TECH

The Converse Star Tech Hi was released in 1984 in many different colorways (there was even a line called Star Tech Colors). In terms of quality, they were every bit as good as the legendary Nike Dunk. Converse decided to stop producing them in 1986, to make room for products featuring more advanced technologies for basketball. Few years later some Mid versions were released, in a less wide range of colorways than the original ones: they became quite popular among skaters and metalheads around the late 80s.

NIKEairforce1NIKE AIRFORCE I

Not everyday can one stumble upon a pair of original Air Force Ones, especially when it is 2014. The Air Force 1′s were the shoe that changed everything as we know it today. Never before was one style of Nike shoe so popular that public demand forced it to be brought back only 2 years after its debut.

For the past 25 years the Air Force 1 has been the official shoe of hip hop and was the standard that all basketball shoes were built up from. Despite the thousands of pairs of Air Force Ones that have been released, the original colorway was a very neutral White/Grey color.

Nikeairjordan3NIKE AIR JORDAN III

The Air Jordan III (3) broke ground for many different aspects of the Nike Air Jordan shoe line. First, the Air Jordan 3 featured the “Jumpman” on the tongue of the shoe. This silhouette of Jordan was to celebrate and commemorate his Slam Dunk Contest victory the year before. Every Jordan after the Air Jordan 3 features this Jumpman as a focal point of the shoe as well as became the new logo for the Air Jordan line. The Air Jordan 3 was also the first to feature a visible air unit. Lastly, the Air Jordan 3 featured elephant print on the upper. Though this material was only used again on 1 other model, it set a standard that the Jordan shoes are as much fashionable as functional. The Air Jordan 3 also is one of the most famous shoes in the Air Jordan lineup. On many polls, the Air Jordan 3 finishes as the greatest sneaker of all time.

Good Time Party

A couple weeks ago Good Time Clothing hosted a pop up shop giving the public their first glimpse of our fall 2013 collection.  The event was a success as friends, family, and fans came to show their support and re-up on some new gear for the season.

The event which has helped kickstart the brand was the first of many that Good Time plans to offer.  We want to come to you and create an experience around our collections.  Its not just about selling clothing, it’s about the Good Time lifestyle which we intend to portray through these events.
